Coach Freddie: The Pied Piper of hemp “Future Shock”

The Serenity Remedies team ran into Coach Freddie at the recent … Hemp fair and just like a dear old friend, he was a delight to see – so we shot this little video interview so people can appreciate something about this wonderful traveling hemp philosopher. When you get a chance check out his Coach Freddie iHemp podcast where he discusses the history, legalization, farming, processing and investing in industrial hemp. People like Coach Freddie make our world fascinating and help us to have a sense of wonder and excitement in life. With his odd, eccentric and unique lifestyle, he brings education to a world that is rapidly transforming through the potentials of the burgeoning hemp industry. After all, what can be more exciting than the hemp revolution?

According to Rolling Stone magazine, hemp is expected to become a $22 billion industry by 2022. After the federal legalization of hemp with the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp products and its derivatives – particularly CBD – have exploded on to the market.

Coach Freddie and his lifestyle as traveling hemp educator is an embodiment of this coming transformation as hemp, CBD and hemp related products, will potentially have an innovative impact in many industries. Human beings have been using this extraordinary plant for millennia and there is even archaeological evidence that hemp was used as far back as 8000 BC. In fact, there are many people who believe that hemp can save our planet.

Hemp can be used as a sustainable and biodegradable alternative to plastic. This, of course, becomes even more important as the public outcry is rising over the destruction plastic is causing to fish, ocean and sea life as whole ecosystems and food chains are becoming polluted with plastic debris and even microplastics. Hemp can be structured to maintain all the synthetic qualities of plastic, without the ecological problems – hemp may become the plastic of the future. And beyond being an alternative to plastic, hemp can be used to make paper, fuel, and industrial material alternatives for steel and concrete.

Alongside Coach Freddie, we stand on the edge of a new world, with new visionaries, new dreamers, new entrepreneurs, new farmers and spinoff industries with a sense of freedom, hope and optimism. The future looks bright.
